OMODA 5 and OMODA 5 EV are the new SUVs of the OMODA brand of OMODA&JAECOO, a Chery Group company, which just these days were launched in the Italian market and some other European segments. The OMODA 5 EV has an output of 204 VC for a torque of 300 Nm and is equipped with a 64 kWh lithium-ion battery capable of providing a range of up to 450 km on a single charge. The battery, located under the floorpan, powers a synchronous electric motor with permanent magnets located at the front that develops 150 kW (204 hp) and enables the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7″8. The battery’s state of charge can go from 10 percent to 80 percent in as little as 35 minutes when the OMODA 5 is connected to a DC charging station.
