As part of Nissan‘s business plan The Arc, which focuses on the company’s growth and competitiveness, a partnership has been formed between Nissan and Silence, a company of the Acciona Group that produces micro-mobility vehicles, including nano-cars, suitable for getting around the city. Nissan will distribute Silence Nano S04 and electric scooters through its sales partners in Italy and France from June 2024 and in Germany from September.
‘Nissan customers have access to new electric mobility solutions, including the S04 Nanocar, a compact and lightweight quadricycle available in two variants, L6e and L7e, that meets the needs of those who need to move around the city in an agile and practical way. The S04 Nanocar L6e has a range of 175 km and a top speed of 45 km/h. The L7e version, on the other hand, has a range of 149 km and a top speed of 85 km/h. Both versions are powered by two 5.6 kWh batteries with quick, simple and convenient recharging options. In fact, the batteries can be removed from the car to be recharged at home or in the office, and can be recharged at public and private charging stations or replaced at dedicated stations,’ reads the press release.
Carlos Sotelo, CEO Acciona’s Mobility Business and Silence, said: ‘The mobility needs of modern citizens are constantly and rapidly evolving. To meet these needs, we have to think smarter, ‘smaller’ and lighter. Silence electric vehicles, combined with Nissan’s distribution network, offer new solutions for urban mobility, shaping a more sustainable future’.
