FastWay, a fast-growing player in Italy’s e-mobility sector, has announced the activation of its 100th Rapid Charging Point in Milan. This new goal, achieved just months after the company’s founding at the end of 2022, highlights FastWay’s rapid growth and ambition to revolutionize the country’s electric charging infrastructure.

Since its launch, FastWay has installed 180 charging points, with 110 already operational across 95 unique sites. These are spread across urban and extra-urban locations, forming a dense and efficient network tailored to meet diverse charging requirements nationwide.

In the first half of 2025 alone, FastWay managed to double its installation speed, now setting its sights on deploying over 1,000 new charging points currently under development throughout Italy. This expansion is not just a testament to the company’s industrial resilience, but also to its determination to drive the country’s transition toward more sustainable mobility.

The company explaines that technological innovation of Rapid Charging Point is at the core of FastWay’s strategy. Most of its charging points feature Plug and Charge capabilities, enabling seamless automatic authentication for EV drivers. The network includes both Fast and Ultra-Fast stations, drastically reducing charging times and significantly enhancing user experience.

Usage statistics mirror the public’s growing trust: charging sessions are increasing at an average rate of 12% month-on-month, confirming both the utility and popularity of FastWay’s network.

To further simplify electric charging, FastWay launched its proprietary app in mid-June. The app garnered over 1,000 registered users within its first commercial month. Among its most innovative features is the Chargeback program, a promotional initiative that rewards users by giving back a coupon worth 20% of the total monthly recharge amount from the previous month.

Additionally, the network is equipped with POS payment devices, representing a practical alternative to smartphone payments. Together, these digital solutions underscore FastWay’s commitment to making electric charging increasingly accessible, efficient, and user-friendly.
