Edinamic has launched the EDC1, the first motor for e-bikes in carbon. EDC1 is equipped with a unique powertrain with a patented pedal release mechanism that allows the rider to disengage from assistance. In this way, the bike is simply transformed into a muscle model when the motor is switched off or when the speed exceeds 25 km/h.
Alessandro Campanini, founder and CEO of Edinamic said: “This new concept motor was born after a process of design and testing by the Edinamic staff and responds to a precise purpose defined in our company mission: to create products that, in addition to providing benefits, are also able to give emotions. I imagined the development and evolution that the technology could have”. It was with these assumptions that the first carbon engine was first conceived and then designed.
