The collaboration is between Telepass and Repower: 1,000 Repower electric charging points integrated into the Telepass App, strengthening one of Italy’s most extensive interoperable EV charging ecosystems

Telepass, Italy’s main provider of toll payment and integrated mobility services, and Repower, a major player in the energy and sustainable mobility sectors, have announced a strategic partnership aimed at simplifying access to electric vehicle (EV) charging across the country. The agreement adds 1,000 Repower charging points to the Telepass App, enabling drivers to locate, activate, and pay for sessions directly through a single digital platform.

With this integration, the Telepass network now encompasses more than 56,000 interoperable charging stations nationwide. Each Repower unit—positioned in key “destination” locations such as hotels, restaurants, and parking facilities—is powered by certified renewable energy, available 24/7, and compatible with all EV models. Charging power outputs reach up to 30 kW DC, ensuring fast and efficient top-ups for a wide range of electric vehicles.

Digital integration for seamless mobility
This collaboration aligns with Telepass’s long-term vision of building a comprehensive digital mobility ecosystem capable of integrating road travel, parking, fuel, and EV infrastructure within a unified interface. The company continues to expand its services across both urban and intercity routes, focusing on simplicity, user experience, and environmental impact reduction.

“Making electric charging as simple and accessible as possible is key to encouraging the shift toward low-impact mobility,” said Aldo Agostinelli, Chief Consumer Revenues Officer at Telepass. “Through our partnership with Repower, we add new charging options for our users and bring them closer to where people live and travel—ensuring an integrated, immediate experience. The transition to electric mobility has to be seamless in everyday life.”

Expanding the Repower electric charging net
For Repower, the partnership reinforces its Repower Charging Net, enhancing visibility and usability for both drivers and network hosts. “Collaborating with Telepass not only strengthens our network footprint,” stated Ambrogio Cassini, Head of E-Mobility at Repower Italy, “but also confirms our commitment to putting the EV driver at the center of every decision. By integrating with the Telepass App, we make our infrastructure more accessible and aligned with users’ digital habits.”

To access the new service, drivers simply open the Telepass App and select the desired Repower station from an interactive map displaying real-time availability and locations across Italy.

The initiative reflects an ongoing trend in Europe’s e-mobility market: the consolidation of digital platforms to enable interoperability, improve service convenience, and support a faster transition to sustainable road transport.
