TTI IP&E – Europe, distributor of electronic components, announced the expansion of its franchise agreement with Sensata Technologies. Through this partnership, TTI is adding Sensata & Gigavac products to its catalog, including relays, contactors and fuses designed for advanced electrification applications.
TTI and Sensata/Gigavac’s team of experts are on hand to support customers in selecting critical components for mission-critical applications, such as next-generation batteries, DC chargers, and specialized commercial vehicles, including those for material handling.
“We are excited to expand our partnership with Sensata Technologies to include a broader range of products dedicated to electrification,” said Ronald Velda, Director Supplier Marketing Europe Connectors and Electromechanical at TTI Europe. “With the introduction of Sensata/Gigavac relays, contactors and fuses, we can offer our customers even more diversified solutions tailored to their needs.”
Sensata Technologies is distinguished by its development of high-voltage, high-power components critical for next-generation electric vehicles and industrial equipment. Their products are designed for reliability and efficiency in a wide range of industries and applications.
“Our contactors and fuses, developed under the Sensata and Gigavac brands, are specifically designed for complex environments and applications that require high reliability,” explained Jacek Kacprowicz, channel manager for Sensata Europe. “These products find use in areas such as automotive, material handling, energy storage, DC charging, industrial equipment, and heavy or off-road vehicles. Sensata contactors, in particular, offer excellent performance through features such as bi-directional current flows, coil economizers, auxiliary switches and compact designs with dedicated certifications.” Kacprowicz added, “We are happy to strengthen our cooperation with TTI, one of the leading distributors of passive and electromechanical components in EMEA. This step will enable us to provide innovative solutions to our customers throughout the region.”
Among the new additions, Sensata’s SGX contactors are positioned as an ideal solution for low and medium power applications that require efficient design and reliable switching. These components find use in areas such as energy storage, DC fast charging stations, and industrial applications such as electric forklifts and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
