BRP Inc. has opened its first European flagship store in the heart of Paris, pointing the spotlights on the new range of Can-Am electric motorcycles.
In partnership with its new dealer, Canadian Motors, BRP open the store, located on Boulevard du Montparnasse, that marks a key milestone in BRP’s European strategy and puts the attention on the new range of Can-Am electric motorcycles, featuring the Pulse and Origin models—both equipped with the innovative Rotax E-Power electric motor.
The new Can-Am Pulse and Can-Am Origin models represent BRP’s debut in the high-performance electric two-wheeler segment. Both bikes are powered by the Rotax E-Power motor, developed in-house by BRP, delivering a maximum power of 35 kW (47 hp) and 72 Nm of instantly available torque. The liquid cooling system, which involves the battery, inverter, charger, and motor, is designed to limit battery degradation over time and optimize both range and charging times: with a Level 2 charging station, you can go from 20% to 80% charge in just 50 minutes.
The Can-Am Pulse is designed for urban mobility. Agile and compact, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and offers up to 160 km of city range thanks to its 8.9 kWh battery. The technology package includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and BRP Connect, as well as active and passive energy regeneration systems during braking and deceleration. The Pulse is available in both 11 kW (rideable with a car license and a 7-hour training course) and 35 kW versions, to meet different user needs.
The Can-Am Origin brings Rotax E-Power technology to the dual sport segment. With KYB suspension offering 255 mm of travel, six riding modes (including two off-road settings), and knobby tires, it is designed to tackle both asphalt and dirt tracks. Urban range reaches up to 145 km, while fast charging and advanced thermal management ensure consistent performance even in the most demanding conditions.
