Ewiva, a joint venture of Enel X and Volkswagen Group established to accelerate the spread of electric mobility in Italy, launches the educational project “E-MOBILITY@SCHOOL”. The initiative for the 2024-2025 school year involves more than 500 classes and about 12,500 students from secondary schools throughout Italy.

Sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and in line with the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda, the educational initiative is free for schools and is aimed at raising awareness among the youngest students on extremely topical issues such as sustainability, climate change, emissions reduction and the future of mobility.

The project, in fact, provides a curriculum that can bring teachers and children closer to the world of e-mobility, learn about its benefits, discover the technologies that make this type of mobility increasingly easy, as well as its impact in environmental terms, while fostering the spread of knowledge about the energy transition.

Carried out in collaboration with Neways, a communications company specializing in educational projects, the E-MOBILITY@SCHOOL project involves sending all participating classes a digital teaching kit to support teachers and students that deals with the most current topics of Environmental Education in line with the mandatory cross-curricular teaching of Civic Education (Law 92/2019) and the Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030.

Schools may choose to continue the course by also hosting educational meetings with experts in the field who will engage students and allow them to get to the heart of the issues of electric mobility and energy transition.
