At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a historic car motoring competition held annually at the Goodwood circuit in England, Sweden’s Polestar unveiled a new concept that anticipates a high-performance production model coming in the next few years. It is the Polestar Concept BST which is based on the 2022 O2 concept that will spawn the production Polestar 6 convertible, scheduled to arrive in dealerships in 2026. The sports vehicle will have an 884-hp engine and performance that guarantees 0-100 km/h in 3.2“ and a BST variant that could offer up to 1,000 hp to hit 100 km/h in less than 3”.
The Polestar 6 will be limited to an initial production run of 500 in the first year, but CEO Thomas Ingenlath has promised to keep the charming convertible in production as long as there is demand.
Returning to the two-seater all-electric Polestar Concept BST, it boasts about 885 hp and 900 Nm of torque, but no other details are known since it is not even a prototype, but only a car to be displayed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed booth.
