Polytechnic University of Turin is launching an executive course designed for those who want to move beyond slogans and gain a deeper understanding of the technological pathways reshaping how we produce and consume energy. Titled “Understanding the Energy Transition: Inside the Black Box of Technological Pathways”, this new program is part of the NODES – North-West Digital and Sustainable initiative funded by Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
The course is aimed at professionals, managers, and policy makers who wish to acquire an up-to-date, multidisciplinary, and practical perspective on technologies and strategies for sustainable mobility and industrial decarbonization. Key topics include the hydrogen supply chain, electrochemical energy storage, electric vehicle architecture, the hydrogen market, and the role of critical materials in the energy transition. This is not just a technical update—it’s a journey into the “black box” of strategic decisions that shape energy innovation.
The program spans 18 hours and will be held between May and June 2025 at the Polytechnic University of Turin campus. The teaching approach combines theoretical insights with practical modules, developed in collaboration with top partners such as CIM 4.0, Environment Park, and the University of Turin. Their contributions ensure an integrated view that connects research, industry, and the local ecosystem.
This course is part of the broader NODES project, which aims to build a regional innovation network based on sustainability, digitalization, and technology transfer. Equipping professionals with the skills to guide the energy transition is a key challenge, and this program represents an important step in developing a community of practice capable of meeting it.
Applications are open until May 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM (Italian time). Full details are available on the Polytechnic University of Turin website in the executive courses section.
